The greatest threat to Syria - and Jordan - is democracy

If we take out Saddam and allow Iraqis of good will to build a civil society (which may, for many reasons not be that hard in Iraq) the pressure on Tyrannized Syria will be massive.
Jordan will be forced to complete its transition to a constitutional monarchy with a powerful parliament.
The more I think of what actually happens when we go up against islamic tyrannys, the more I think that we will be well served in pursuing our interests vigorously and fully.
If we can also force the corrupt inbred house of saud to end their theocratic tyranny, and allow all of saudi society to enter the 3rd millenium, we will be even better served.
