I don't think I could bear the disgrace of having my son caught in such a public act of treason. However I don't think I could bring myself to disown my son if he did something so stupid. Base upon the newspaper accounts, it seems the boy was a sweet kid (a bit stupid about religion). He probably did get himself brainwashed at a Pakistani madressa by some arch scumbag. However this does not excuse him. He was an adult of legal age and treason is a capital offense. I just hope the Afghans deal with him. I don't want to see a repeat of the O.J. Simpson trials (Please anything but that!!!).
