<If the price of oil goes up: You blame Bush.
If oil prices rise as a result of collusion between the oil companies and Bush doesn't tell his big oil chums to cool it I would blame him indirectly. If they rise as a result of OPEC price manipulation and Bush didn't bring American economic and diplomatic power to bear to bring prices to normal market levels I would blame him indirectly. If they rise as a result of normal market fluctuations I'd find something else to blame him for.
If someone drills in the Artic, off the coast of California or builds a new pipeline in an attempt to lower the price of oil: You blame Bush.
If the new drilling is a result of Bush backed legislation, you're damn right I would blame him.
If Enron was making a profit: You would blame Bush.
Probably not but I'm sure all those campaign contributions weren't based on Bush's great personality.
When it loses tankerloads of money: You blame Bush.
No, but THEY might. ;-)
If your toliet backs up, let me guess: You blame Bush.
Probably not, but maybe we should appoint an independent council and give him 5 years and $60m
just to be sure.
