Natural consequences of far left philosophy
Face it. This willing and eager participant in taking arms against his country grew up in a fruit & nuts culture where making any judment of any kind (except of course one against Western values) was discouraged. So, the fact that he either applauds or at best is neutral to American families being immolated and trapped into jumping to horrific death off 100 story buildings is to be expected. We would not want to be judgemental and hold that opinion as being of less "value".
