The last Taliban stronghold is allegedly negotiating a surrender.
ObL is apparently holed up in Tora Bora, in a cave and bunker complex we helped finance.
The pressure is on to negotiate.
The danger is we might allow the Taliban to end up controlling the negotiation.
The Taliban have killed nearly every alternative leader in Afghanistan. I beleive they will try to do so again.
The other thing they will try to do is to splinter the US/NA coalition, by calling for an all Afghan solution.
Mullah Omar is, I am sure, planning a betrayal at least on the scale as the prison revolt.
I would not be surprised if he infected himself with something to give to the resistance.
The CIA must stay on game here, and the game must be a Moslem killing Mullah Omar. If we kill ObL, that is just us getting a guy who hit us.
Mullah Omar is traitorous, vicious and cold blooded. We must help him on his way to Allah.
