This is great, and also illustrates the huge amount of legwork required to completely research and demolish this kind of screwball stuff, compared to the ease of simply picking up a rumor or unsubstantiated story and spreading it all over the Web.
Knocking these goofy stories out would be a full-time job. I'm glad other people are doing it--I don't have the time.
