Late last January, an elderly man walked up to a Marine guard at the White House. He asked the Marine, "Is Bill Clinton here?"

The Marine replied, "No, sir. Mr. Clinton is no longer the president. He doesn't live here anymore."

The elderly gentleman walked away with a smile. The next day, he returned and again asked, "Is Bill Clinton here?"

Once again, the Marine replied, "No, sir. Mr. Clinton is no longer the president. He doesn't live here anymore."

The elderly man walked away smiling once more. Sure enough, he returned the next day and asked, "Is Bill Clinton here?"

The Marine was getting a little frustrated but he held his temper. "No, sir. Like I explained to you two days ago and again yesterday, Mr. Clinton is no longer the president and doesn't live here anymore."

"That's quite alright, young man" the gentleman replied with a big grin, "I just love hearing you say that."
