I'm not sure what the big deal is. Zimmerman says the fellow is up to no good. The edited part simply details that, or says it again.
Is this edit supposed to be prejudicial to Zimmerman, or Martin? I can't see it does Zimmerman any harm, the race of people who may be of interest to the police is always requested. And I can't see where it did Martin any harm.
Don't misunderstand. I can see where this is a big deal to those who see a huge liberal conspiracy behind every newscast. Go for it, I say, they did edit the call. Howl and yowl, each of you reinforcing the other in your canine choir, warning of a mouse crossing a path.
I'd use the soccer rule of no harm, no foul. But I'm not looking to manufacture a liberal conspiracy to satisfy my intense desire to find a liberal conspiracy. This is like the frustrated elk hunter finally seeing antlers on a kangaroo rat who yells he sees one and blows it away.
