Your point about the repairs causing overstressing of other attachment points hit home with me. Ive seen repairs made to heavy equipment that just cause damage to show somewhere else. You have to find the orignal cause of the problem, not just treat the symptom.
Im wondering though , wouldn't there be hydraulic relief valves in the rudder control preventing pilot input from overstressing the rudder attachment points-if that's what you meant. Applying full left of right rudder shouldn't cause overstressing.
Forgive me if Im just talking out my ass.
