Current Events

A look back: Sort of a "bittersweet" gratitude regarding Sept/11/2001.

This is for the survivors of the WTC
destruction that infamous September day. There are alot more survivors than people actually think.
There are the "hypothetical-situation" survivors; as well as the "actual event" survivors.

The "actual event" survivors are of course are those who were either evacuated or rescued from those two buildings on Sept/11th.

"Hypothetical-situation" survivors
are those people who where expected
to be in those buildings on September/11th, and would have perished
if certain circumstances had fallen into place. I call it the "if" history; or "if" events.
EXAMPLES:
>IF...the suicide air-attacks on the WTC buildings had taken place two hours later [starting 10:45AM, instead of 8:45AM], then there would have been over 20,000-25,000 people in those two buildings at that time of day...As it were I understand some 8000-9000 people were successfully evacuated, meaning at most only 12,000 people were in the WTC buildings that morning.

>IF...the terrorist hijacked aircraft
had struck those two buildings between
their 10th and 20th floors [instead
of between the 68th and 91st floors],
and had struck them between 10:45AM -
11:16AM, then there would most likely
have been over 20,000 people either
immediately incinerated or trapped and doomed in the upper 80-90 floors, with only several hundred, or a few thousand fortunate survivors at most, below the 10th and 20th floors of those
two buildings.
There would have been over 20,000 dead instead of under
3,000...IF...those hypothetical circumstances happened. Thus, there
are over 17,000 "hypothetical situation"
survivors that can count their blessings today.
