Look for the Enron deal to become the next major attempt to knock Bush out of the political ring. They have been champing at the bit to get something on a Republican since the Clinton impeachment. Their greatest fantasy is endless hearings with a Republican President in the hot seat. Maybe even--could they be so fortunate? An impeachment?

Well, maybe not from the Enron deal. But there will be a Justice Department investigation. And it would put the political debate back into the eye-gouging realm where Democrats are so comfortable, far away from those nasty and difficult political principles, philosophies, and policies.
