Ideally, we should put the breeder reactor program back on line and start burning some of this crap up. As for the rest, it should be stored--NOT buried--in a fortified military underground facility surrounded by troops and weapons on permanent station. Regular inspections will insure that no leakage or escape takes place. This is not possible for wastes permanently "sealed" in underground tombs. Someday, we will have a better solution for this stuff, and it should be kept accessible.
