Saw Councilman Charles Barron on O'Reilly last night too. I don't know why O'Reilly bothers to interview these blithering idiots. There are guys who wanders around the streets dressed in garbage bags who screams personal abuse at fireplugs who would have made more sense in an interview. Give O'Reilly credit for patience--I would have shown this butthead the end of my boot halfway through the interview. I can only imagine what Barron's constituency looks like. Probably the fireplug abusers.

It may be gratifying for some people to carve the word "RACE VICTIM" on their foreheads with a blunt knife, and obsess every last waking moment about their melanin levels and the Terrible Things that happened to their ancestors, but I don't see the value of trying to teach this attitude to children. Unless of course your goal is not to improve their lives, but to convert them into bitter, angry cannon fodder for your political agenda.

My ancestors were indentured servants and serfs. Farther back, they were spoils of war, when they weren't being fertilizer. The blood of eight hundred years of rampaging, conquering, raping armies flows through my veins. So what? What's that got to do with here and now? EVERYONE had ancestors who were slaves, if you go back far enough. Somehow these so-called "Black Leaders" seem to have gotten the idea that owning slaves was something that was invented a few hundred years ago specifically for Western Africans.

Get over it already.
