Only in France...
I just received a report that ALL the doctors in France decided to go on a one day strike in order to be able to charge their patients more ( a 2 dollar hike in minimum service charge) and to be able to charge more for housecalls.
It seems our regional US interests and even the embassy medical facility helped temporarily to take some of the desperate emergency overload.
I think that is mute testimony of the failure of socialized medicine and the greed of doctors - and how little they care for serving the sick kids and desperately injured.
A sad day for France.
