If I posted every example like this I saw, I'd crash this board. And that's just the obvious ones. Most are just suspicious, and may just reveal my cynical nature. There's this in the NYT as well. A valid story that ought to be reported? Of course. An attempt to tarnish the Bush administration's unusually successful record with the war in Afghanistan? Maybe.
