If the guy with the teddy bears turns out to be a terrorist, then I hope that all terrorists end up being this stupid. Kinda like the guy who thought to himself "No one will notice if I light this fuse sticking out of my foot on this airliner."

Though I do not believe that this report justifies any persecution of the shopper, I do believe that it warrants an investigation.

And one of your examples: "How about if some poor jerk pays cash for some stump remover, a few lengths of galvanized pipe, couple of pounds of nails, and fills his gas tank? That should be worth Ashcroft announcing another "credible threat"!!!"

Though I wouldn't go along with the Ashcroft announcement, I think it might warrant a phone call or two.
