Aryan Nations
NPR's Eric Westervelt reports on the hopes and plans of the Aryans Nation to rebuild their movement -- in rural Pennsylvania. (8:00)
Not the first time this topic has appeared in the Zone - assuredly won't be the last.
I suspect that there's very little that can be done by law to keep them from purchasing property and 'improving' it - knowing rural Pennsylvania, there's likely to be neither zoning nor building codes ouside of Coudersport borough. So I can only hope:
- The local community is not cowed by fear,
- The local boys (notice, they never recruit girls?) are not swayed by this particular flavor of hormone-enhanced poison,
- That these groups are not the wave of the future, but shrivel and die for lack of sympathizers before they resume resorting to robbery for funding and death for the Hell of it.
