I can see some defense and think tank types, and war planners thinking...."Gee, this can get REALLY out of hand, we'd better stop it all NOW, rather than risk getting annihilated LATER". (Which of course has been the thinking all along, which got us INTO this nuclear age now (Teller anyone?) and which is the front train for all the chemical, biological, EMP "wars" of the future to come, etc...
However, let us not blame this all on Clinton (c'mon SDAI, you should know BETTER than that!), let's blame it on the CIA and all the illegal weapons dealing WORLDWIDE that we've done the past few decades......oh, you know....shoring up that country, that regime, making money under the table, not caring WHO we sold to as long as those dollars kept rolling into our country to keep the defense industry in business and give certain political advantages to those.....ummm...."in charge", so to speak . MONEY. Money is the root of all evil.
Combine that with power and you get a type of psycho-pathology.
And it wasn't just the guns, it was the TECHNOLOGY, the chemical, the biological and the advanced weaponry. If we follow your line of frequency relationship, the whole world SHOULD BE armed to the teeth and ready for a big dog fight. And the biggest dog around right now is snarling, growling and about to piss on any other dog that stands in His way.......

You know, there comes a time when everyone grows up and allows the fledglings to stand on their own and make compromises. As a global "family", we HAVE TO allow others their sovereignity. We can't force them to, and we can't dictate it to them, or we will be resented.
