Blood Letting

Drugs and supplements fall into different categories..

Taking state-of-the-art nutritional support, or taking steroids, are two very different things.
I don't really know how anyone else felt, but I think the games were badly tarnished this year by the levels of intrusion into the athlete's lives. Perhaps no clear cut rules were in place BEFORE the games. Perhapes the EPO levels were still in dispute, and were only forced near the end.
How terrible for morale for the Russian cross country skiers.

Where is the evidence that high levels of hemoglobin aren't natural in athletic, menstruating females?

I think it's a shame.
Like the FDA who still jump up and down and scream and raid doctor's offices and intimidate it's employees because of their cache of supplements, this whole new genre of Olympic "experts" really has begun to smell.

Anyone else agree?
