What I can't sympathise with is someone calculating that "Whoa, my 401K is worth $1 million" when the stock was inflated to $90 and then complaining when the stock hits a realistic value say $9. If someone contributed less than $100K and it went up 10x for utter BS reasons, why does the press act like they lost a million bucks?
Face it many of us (me) gambled on rising tech stocks and bore the brunt of the loss on our 201Ks. Why ENRON folks need a bailout is pure BS. Jesse Jackson's suing the remaining company for "reparations" will mostly cost MORE jobs there to be lost.
This rant aside, I hope senior ENRON management gets fined bigtime by the SEC and some do jail time. They knowingly conspired to perpertrate a fraud that hurt lots of hard working employees and public shareholders.
