You've probably already tried this, but, here's a freeware plugin that exports Sketchup models as a DXF or STL triangular mesh which might be readable by your CAM software? Would be fun to write an online graphic sci-fi novel (or novella) using 3D models instead of 2d illustration. There are gillions of public domain models in 3D Warehouse that could be cobbled together to interesting effect.
