Communication Breakdown

What IS this "Homeland Defense" shit anyway?
Has Hitler re-incarnated as George Jr.?

Steering clearly away from those derogatory comments, no-one bothers to ask WHY our "intelligence" agencies allowed 9/11 to happen.
THE FBI didn't move on the Saudi terrorists that the FAA were complaining about. WHY?
Why did they have orders from "higher up" to leave them alone?
Is OIL so precious to us and our uneasy alliance with the Middle East, that we can just leave these dangerous zealots full reign in our country?
There is NO accountability within our intelligence agencies as they stand, eating up over $35 billion a year of our tax dollars....and FOR WHAT?
Are we any better for it?

The FBI and CIA (let alone the NSA) all protect our national political allies and criminals, when it serves our national "interest" (corporate, state insured and enforced).
So, let's start ANOTHER agency??
Another multi-billion dollar boondoggle that will only serve these political corporate interests MORE?
And let the real criminals fall through the communications breakdown cracks??
Pfffffttttttt.

>"Poor communication between military and civilian defense officials, and between federal and local authorities, is a threat to the United States' homeland defense network."

Bullshit (the cat is a bastard too).
It's a threat to the United States and it's citizens.

Tom Ridge needs another job
Instead, they ought to make him a watchdog to ferret out the heads of agencies that aren't doing their job. But Bush won't let him do THAT. He might find out where the REAL cracks in our "defense" network are...........awkk!
