What you have written is so obviously true that I can't believe anyone here seriously thought that ground action would be unnecessary in this war. Maybe some people thought that the dirty work could be handled mostly by Afghan forces, but I think we know now that our forces are going to have to be the ones to make it happen if the enemy isn't going to get away again.
At the very least, I hope that our high-tech and air power helps keep casualties to a minimum.
