Why is it that all the on-going trouble in the world seems to congregate around the equator? Maybe people just don’t like to fight in snow...?
* The climate is good, year round.
* The beaches are incredible, year round.
* The people (not the crazies) are friendly, year round.
There is such a commercial potential that it defies imagination. Tourism alone could set the Philippines', South America's, and Africa's economies about as far from the red as Earth is from Pluto.
...if they would just let it happen...
