Give the States more say in running day-to-day affairs. Other than running the military, who really needs Washington any way (or is that Washington in-the-way).

It works for the internet.

Our Military uses it.

Why can't the US government?

Well it would mean the loss of power in Washington DC. And that is unacceptable to many people in Washington DC.

Maybe the Congress can meet over the internet.

Maybe each house can be located in separate cities.

Maybe we return to the days where Senators were appointed and not elected.

Maybe I'm rambling, but it all comes down to will the Washington elites give up some of their power?

Not likely.
