co-opt the color scale?
Seems to be much ado about little to me too. Like what are folks supposed to do about each level? And if I'm a raghead, do I wait for a green to spring my surprise attack?
On the constructive side I'd encourage astronomers to re-do the Torino scale asteroid threat indicator to use these now publicized colors instead of their nomenclature. Maybe get more public attention on NEO threat and better characterize the greenness of most asteroid warnings.
