Where else?
I wouldn't have wanted to be a juror with just the two choices.
Where else would a woman who has been under intense psychiatric care for a long time, obviously distressed beyond belief, hearing things, who then drowns her 5 children, be considered "sane"?
Guilty of murder, that's true. But "sane"? Only, I guess, relatively. Only compared to the rest of the state.
She's crazy beyond nuts. Except in Texas.
That's really a sad situation. No one won - not Texas, not humanity, not her children, not her.
