Item 2:

Questioning Bush's Love Affair With War
Capitol Shrill

"I don't believe that the U.S. threat to overthrow a country's leader will be tolerated by civilized people."

Well, I guess I know now what I am -- at least to Jesse Jackson Jr.

Anyway, he supports the war, but not overthrowing a country’s leader -- even though that is exactly what the war just finished doing.

>sigh<

And he came down hard against the shadow government, saying, "There is no such thing in the Constitution. There are three branches of government. If the administration is concerned with contingencies, they must be democratically planned. If they want to change the structure, it is a constitutional issue. Then the government must have a 28th amendment."

This, on its own merit, I would have to agree with.

About Hinchey:
The political operatives within the White House are advising that the war is necessary to maintain the president's apparent popularity.

Does this imply that the president is doing what the people demand of him? Now, you know that’s just got to stop.

“There is a point where Congress will deny funding for the military efforts if we are not consulted. That's our weapon."

More of that promise to hold the U.S. of A. hostage.
