justice done!
I'm very happy for those reasons to see those knowingly and deliberately uncaring people held responsible for their actions. However, I wonder if the conviction would still have happened in SF had the victim's cause not been so abely championed by activist gay rights groups? I would like to think that such matters would have no effect on prosecutors' zeal, that a prosecutoe would have worked just as fervently had the victim been a young hetero male.
