I posted at the time that the Taliban would collapse soon after this.
I had no idea that we would be such a major assistance with this, but I concluded that no regime so irresponsible and extreme could possibly have the judgement or insight to long survive.
That they were also planning on a pre-emptive attack on American Civilians at this time was of course not known, but that too, in honest perspective was not much different than the utter mindless wicked stupidity of atacking important ancient works of art.
If the Taliban had a coup in Egypt, what would they do the ancient relics there?
