ADM and a free market
I asked a good friend of mine who is active in such things about the commodities market at breakfast one day. I mentioned that the small guy, anyway, seems to lose a lot of money very rapidly in commodities. (Except for Hilary.)
He says he stays way, way away from commodities, though he is very active in stocks. His reasoning is that ADM is so big that it can manipulate almost any particular commodity at almost any time of their choosing. He doesn't think they do it with everything all the time, just whenever they choose wherever they choose. Under his thinking the small guy is a donor.
Interesting theory.
