You should take some small satisfaction...
in that Bush is pushing the Clinton trade policy, as the article points out. Free trade was one of the very few real Clinton good ideas from his administration that actually seemed to originate from him (as opposed to running in front of a Republican parade and start waving his baton) and that he was willing to fight for in the face of political opposition.
