It is distressing to see the resurgent rise of The Sindero Luminoso.
I had hopes the capture of Abdimael Guzzman would be cutting the head off of the snake and eventually end Shinning Path.
It is interesting to note these people have substantial control over the growing and harvest of the Cocoa crop that is processed into cocaine paste and exported to Mexico and Columbia. This is the major source of foreign capital for Peru.
It questionable how much the government forces want to meddle into this "dependencia."
