I would have to agree. The judge did say, “It is nothing but rape, and the crime is horrendous,” which would, to me, imply a maximum sentence. Maybe he doesn’t know exactly what “horrendous” means... well, he got more than the stated “norm.”
I wonder if any UCMJ action is awaiting his release...
