World Court

A lot of people wonder what's wrong with a World Court, or a World Government, or anything else along those lines.

As seen in the Declaration of Independence, governments are instituted to protect the rights of its citizens. A government is only desirable when it recognizes these rights. When it begins to destroy them, it is no longer desirable.

Any world government or world court that is presently proposed has no intention of recognizing individual rights, property, or any of the other things which it should protect. There is no Constitution or Bill of Rights in the picture. The principles that would be used are those of socialism, collectivism, and totalitarianism. Almost every case undertaken by such bodies is intended to attack the West.

The World Court is going to turn out to be a collectivist playground just like the U.N. and I see no more reason to support it under those circumstances than I would support gangsters and Mafia members being appointed as judges in American courts.

Thank God Bush still has the balls to resist this. I was beginning to wonder. Al Gore would have been at the opening ceremonies with bells on.
