If you are self-employed, and have access to no employer insurance through a spouse or something, health insurance payments are partially deductible (I think 60% right now), and are slowly...ever so slowly...moving towards full deductibility in 2003.
You know, if the Founding Fathers had seen our current tax code they would have hung themselves to the last man.
