You're in the midst of a war, your position is being assaulted, and three of your folks have given the other guys information as to the planned retreat.

Using the information from the three guys, the other guys set up an ambush and cut off the retreat, killing commanders.

What would you do?

Liberals - Talk to the three people, try to understand them, help them to see that their need for attention has caused a lot of grief, and ask them to not do it again, fer sure.

Probably not.

Fundamental right-wing conservatives - Ask them, "Have you ever been baptized in The Lord, accepted Jesus Christ as your one and only true personal Savior? Do you have a copy of The Bible, have you ever read it, do you know what it says to YOU, to YOUR heart?"

Probably not.

There is a realistic way to look at the way traitors are treated by their own side in the heat of a battle. And don't forget, the Israelis have destroyed the ability of the Palestinians to handle their civil legal problems. Killed the police, wiped out the infrastructure.
