Sharon's dual objectives
Considering on Sharon's proposed operations for the next 3 weeks, one must remember
1) that priority one for Sharon was dismantling the Palestinian Authority
Sharon does not view the Palestinian Authority as little more than a "terrorist" (resistance) front. But interogation of those members of the resistance organizations captured in this first sweep will allow identification of further assets, adn thus of raids, which will be directed against active organizations.
It is important to keep the 2 goals separate.
