Those "vague murmurs" which the Washington Post reports are just barely penetrating the White House walls are about every country specialist in the CIA screaming their heads off.
Amazingly, access seems to have been successfully blocked to just about every key strategic meeting. Bush Jr would do well to consult with these folks instead of Rumsfeld about the consequences of actions and courses open to him. A matter of fact, Bush Jr should invite Rumsfeld to a briefing from all of them.
