Ebbers Resigns . . .
Ebbers has dug a big hole for Worldcom. His stock dealings were only part of the mess he created. I think they were a symptom of a much larger problem. I sold my WCOM stock at a big loss. (But then I've sold a lot of stocks like that lately)
I hope the company can survive. I think Ebber's had to resign if WCOM is to get any kind of re-financing of its debt completed short of declaring bankruptcy…Which still may happen.
I’m looking for a glint of light at the end of the tunnel, then I may buy back some shares. Time will tell.
