It gets worse.

I'm sure they if they checked his wallet closely they could find a pilots license, AMEL (cruise only), with ATR and checkout in 747 simulator, and a map of Washington, D. C., with the White House circled.

They could dig out 12 ounces of C4 in each shoe, with the laces made out of a fuse material. If necessary, they could find 6 pipe bombs in each pocket, each labelled "Acme Remote Mailbox Destruction System Mark IVa".

A very bad guy.

My point is that the Israelis can claim anything about anybody and no one can verify it. Now, would the Israelis lie? Would they know who participated in Palestinian activities? Would they try to manipulate American public opinion?

Yes, not necessarily, and yep. And, the guy just may have been who they said he was. But just because they said he was doesn't make it so.
