"Need to change the name to something a bit more inclusive. "
Hmm, would be nice to keep the letters- NATO. How about Northern Armies Treaty Organization. Of course Navy and Air Force would have a cow:).
But seriously it could be mainly about Army- take out Navy and Airforce.
If you *had to*, you could also make a Northern Airforce/Navy Treaty Organization: NATO/NNTO. Or combine the Air and Navy: NA&NTO.
Anyhow, changing to Army, and keeping Air and Navy to more a directly controlled by individual nations (and of course still coordinated) makes more sense in the World after the Cold war.
So, NATO gets a contraction and an expansion- like a business merger:)
