Hmmm?

What's the entre? I wonder what they think the US could do? Does India have any reason to trust the US to broker a fair deal?

Pakistan might feel a bit more pressure, as there are undoubtedly deals in place for their help with Afghanistan. Don't know what they are, and some of them may be personal to Musharrif, but I'd bet they are in place.

The US seems to have consistently tilted to Pakistan, and India know that. Otherwise, I don't think we've paid a lot attention to her.

The Brits would seem to have more of a history with the folks, may be more trusted, or not. It may be they all hate the Brits.

"Hi, I'm Colin Powell, I spent some time in the neighborhod in the '60s, thought I'd drop in. Howya getting along? Can I help?" Might not carry much weight.

Dunno. This could well be a big, big problem for the world, I think everyone should be concerned, interested and helpful, I don't know why these folks would necessarily listen.
