Re: The greatest danger is the fragility and instability of Pakistan

Salute Matt...

You said it more eloquently then I could have.... If Pakistan goes crashing down to ruin and defeat... the one thing we can be certain of is that any WMD remaining will end up in the hands of those who wish us Evil.

I have no love for military dictators... and that it was Musharaff is.... However since grabbing power he seems to have behaved with more wisdom then the previous elected but corrupt civilian governments have.

And he has taken, at great personal risk, "our" side since 9-11.

India is ruled by a racist party who organised a " spontaneous" riot that slaughtered 2,000 muslims in thier homes and streets only a few months ago, catching, incidentally several UK citizens who also died.

Kashmir is a majority Muslim state... In elections held only a few years ago.........the majority voted for a middle of the road muslim party that sought independance\autonomy......the Indian government overturned the election... the leadership of that party are now all dead or "Terrorists"
