Re: Environmental Scientists Quit over Bush's Lack of Concern

I always love Elizabeth Shogren's pieces...they have been consistently negative her entire career. It's getting so I can tell what a reporter is going to say before they say it now...

You'll have a large selection of resources to tap with most of these reporters.

Many of them eclipse your own dislike of the administration and Bush family by a factor of ten to twenty.

She is an old school Liberal with a capital L and the ACLU card dangling around her neck with her press pass.

It's always fun to see the disenfranchised reporters discuss and attempt to dismember this distinguished administration with disturbingly distraught distemper.

I find it distasteful.

Fortunately, Bush still enjoys high approval ratings - ratings the media are now on a full kamikaze mission to destroy.

Negative folks regenerate all this hatred and attract it right back at them. Then they are mystified as to why the public finds them unsympathetic and counter-productive.

Then they begin to shout about liberty and free debate - not recognizing people aren't against them because they are left or pointing out flaws - but because they are transparently almost joyously negative and an anathema to individuals who like to be constructive and see the good in folks rather than the evil.

None of them are making an effort to help government do a better job - none of them offer to run for office and make things better. But instead they rant and ramble in rhetorical rapture against all the perceived arrogance which merely mirrors their own astronomically high position doling judgement from atop the mountain of their ego.

Thanks for posting though,

One can learn from everything. And I mean everything!

PS
Bush's approach is based on the knowledge that global warming is solar-warming and not reversable by raising EPA mileage or curbing industry. The Kyoto treaty is simply a curb-America treaty which is wonderful for the third world and blatantly anti-industry.
