Dan Rather ...

... knows the internet has made him obsolete among the haves and most of the have-nots - so now he is desperately seeking exposure. Such as his brave and heroic decision to deliver the news and collect his salary while the anthrax mailings were news.

By all means let's investigate!

First let's get the outgoing Clinton administration for keeping the new administration from proper facilities for so long and then sabotaging and defacing Federal equipment and thrashing the Oval Office.

If we investigate long enough... we can surely dig up all the Clinton era cuts, security lapses and appointments which led to the horrible state of our intelligence services. The White House agents, were busy keeping away the countless folks who wanted to kill Clinton.

Anyone recall some of the psycho-killers Clinton attracted like flies?

Clinton had a chance to bag bin Laden, when he was not on the run and failed.

Clinton, as you recall, cornered some stranger in a park to reveal that he really had tried to get bin Laden.

Clinton developing a nagging guilty conscience?

By Jiminy, you'll have to ask Jiminy Cricket.

The astute, articulate and almighty annointed Dan Rather surely must have been informed of bin Laden's activities when he chatted chummily with members of bin Laden's family at last summer's illuminati meeting. ;-) All those gold tie-pins and diamond cuff-links from table 12 left me with snow-blindness.

Perhaps Dan Rather...should be investigated on how much he knew...and when?

Rather's statements triggered the
