Re: Partly cloudy, actually.

Majority of Palestinians think Israel should be eliminated.

...Fifty-one percent of people surveyed said the end result of the uprising should be "liberating all of historic Palestine," referring to British-mandate Palestine, part of which was recognized as Israel in 1948.

...Forty-three percent of respondents said the aim of the uprising was to end Israeli occupation and establish a state only in the West Bank and Gaza.

As an optimist on human nature, I would actually have bet that there were more Palestinians in the latter group, but there it is.

And these were average Palestinians. If you were to poll the Arafat's gang, the rest of the Palestinian leadership, and the radical groups that claim to be Palestinian leaders, with the same question, what do you think the numbers would be?

Now that we have established for about the thirtieth time that we can find people on both sides who want the other side completely out of the country, preferably pushing up daisies, what now?

And just because the Palestinians don't have tanks doesn't mean they can't kill anybody. Lives were saved by finding those car bombs.

News flash! Iraq discovered to possess dozens of nuclear warheads! Bowser says it's okay since they don't have intercontinental ballistic missiles like we do, and we should stop bothering Saddam.

Some real news flashes: Palestinians attack more hard military targets.
