Taxes
It's amazing how it doesn't bother governments to rake in millions in tax money from a product that kills people, while screaming about evil men making profits from products that kill people. I suppose it's okay to make money from killing people if you promise to use the money wisely and for The Good Of All.
This is, of course, why government doesn't make an obviously lethal product illegal. The money is just too sweet.
