Just took a peek in my travel bag

This is the very bag I've carried on to maybe a half-dozen different flights in the past 3 months.

There at the bottom, amid some pens, pencils, paper clips, cards, and other miscellaneous long-lost stuff was...a knive. Not metallic, yet still quite hard, quite sharp, quite lethal. I probably just tossed it into my bag 6 months ago along with some bagels I just bought for lunch, something like that. All those trips through the scanning machines and it had never even been noticed.
