Iodized salt

Hi, Tom!

Iodized table salt is a staple in my house. One of us works at a nuke plant. (Not me. Getting the permissions for Preschool Story Time would be murder. ;) )

It's cheap, it's easy, and no prescription is required. Nor do you have to OD on salt to get the iodine you need. It's not as sexy as a little government-issue morning-after pill, but you know what they say about an ounce of prevention.

I haven't looked, because no medical conditions have required me to find out, but I bet the non-sodium salt substitute, potassium chloride, comes in an iodized variety.

Regards--
Mary Anne
